Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 7:00–9:30 pm in Palm Desert. Come join us! The Desert Winds Freedom Band is a not-for-profit, volunteer group of more than 45 gay and gay-friendly musicians dedicated to providing cultural, social and educational enrichment to its audiences and its members. The Band has a core of dedicated musicians who love to play concert band music together. Some are professionals and others haven't played since they graduated from high school many years ago.
