Eight Free Mammogram Clinics Scheduled for Remainder of 2011

Palm Springs, CA, May 1, 2011 - Desert Women for Equality’s We Care Program has scheduled eight (8) free mammogram clinics in the Coachella Valley for the remainder of 2011. Each clinic expects to provide over 100 free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women who are at least 40 years old with no implants.

Clinics are held between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but limited. To ensure availability, it is recommended that participants schedule an appointment well in advance by calling
760-325-4701 between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm (M-F).

Schedule clinic dates and cities are as follows:
December 15 - Cathedral City
